YES you see it right! My darling daughter was all ready bathed and dressed, saw her brother in the tub after telling her no and turning my back for 2 seconds here is the results. Does she listen good or what?

Houston is almost done with his 1st season of soccer. He did a good job this year, amazingly even scoring goals every game! We weren't sure if he would like it but he does and wants to play again next season. Good Job this season Tiger!!!

Happy 10th Birthday Austin! Here is a picture of our nephew riding his bike that he just got for his Birthday. We went and watched him ride at the track about 6 weeks ago, he his doing a good job. Hope you have a great year Austin-We love you

This picture kind of gives you an idea of how tiny he really is.

This is my favorite picture of Piercen so far! Now with all the breathing machines out of his face we finally get to see what our tiny man looks like. He is starting to wake up more and loves to be held, and momma loves it too.

Houston got to see his brother for the 1st time on the 24th. Houston was so EXCITED to finally get to meet him! Piercen recognized his voice and was the most coherent that he has ever been. Piercen had his eyes wide open and was going cross eyed looking at Houston.

My Daddy holding me the very first time, I loved every minute of it.

"I got out of my Incubator and in to my crib, I love it so much"!

Today was such a good day for Piercen. He had a great night last night and the doctors took him off his breathing machine and moved him into an incubator!! We are so proud of him, the doctors and nurses say this is such a huge milestone. Today I got to change his diaper and give him his first pacifier, he was not quite sure what to do with it as he has not learned how to suck. Piercen got a feeding tube in yesterday and got his first taste of milk, he seems to be tolerating it well. If all goes well tonight I will get to hold him for the first time tomorrow.

Piecen has a little bit of Jondus. Here he is with the goggles and a reflection of the blue lights.
6 days old.

Piercen was looking at his nurse like this all day when he didn't like what they were doing. Our tiny man already has an attitude. :)

I just want to start off by thanking our entire family for your support over this past month. I could have never made it through my 3 week stay at the hospital with out knowing that my kids were ok and being well taken care of. Although Ashlyn did end up in the emergency room with a "boo boo" that landed her two stitches in her forhead. Thank god she was at my mother in laws house when it happend, apparently Justin freaked out and Nanny had to step in. I want to say thank you for those of you who came to visit, offered to help with the kids, and for being there when I needed a shoulder to cry on. I espically want to thank my wonderful dad who never missed a day at the hospital and took me faithfully on my wheelchair rides. This may sound a little crazy but It was bitter sweet when it was time to come home. My Nurses became a part of my life and were the most Awesome nurses I could ever of asked for. And then we had to leave our baby at the Hospital the hardest thing I ever had to do, I know in my heart that he needs to be there but as a mother I want to be the one taking care of him. This past week as been an emotional rollercoaster for us, we have had our ups and downs with our precious little boy. His poor little body has been fighting so hard and we are so proud of where he his today. The doctors took him off his Nitric Oxide yesterday and today they took him off his ventilator and put him on a regular breathing machine. The doctors also told us that if he has a good night tonight they will take him off the breathing machine and put him in an incubator in the morning. My Uncle Terry came in from San Diego last night to baptize and confirm Piercen this morning. Thank you Uncle Terry for coming so far to do this for our baby. We our hopeful that this will keep him moving in the right direction. Please continue to keep Piercen in your thoughts and prayers as he has come such a long way but still has a long road ahead.

We are still just hanging out in the hospital. The nurses are starting to be like family after 15 days, I am very fortunate that they are all so nice. We made it another week, I am now 31 weeks and 2 days. The doctors say they may check the amniotic fluid sometime between 32 and 33 weeks to see if the baby's lungs are developed fully, there is a 50/50 chance that they will be. So we are hopeful that they will do the test and pray that his little lungs are developed. Justin will have a whole new appreciation for me when I get home, he his doing a good job taking care of the kids and the house-he has never had to do the "MOM" thing. He tells me it is never ending with laundry and all the other things us mom's do. For the first time in his life he went to the grocery store to do full on grocery shopping, not just to pick up one or two items I really think he enjoyed that. Houston and Ashlyn have both been sick with colds, so I have not been able to see Houston for 8 days, he is coming up to see me today and I can't wait to kiss his face. My mom and dad suprised me last night and brought Ashlyn to see me, it was the Highlight of my day. I miss my babies so much!!!

Just a little update to let you know what is going on------
The doctors are all pretty excited that we have made it this far, I am now 30 weeks pregnant. All though the days are all running together and I do get very ansy sitting in my hospital bed, I am very grateful that we are still sitting here. The doctors say that everyday our baby stays in the oven that it takes 3-4 days off his stay in ICU. We had our last ultrasoun monday and they said the baby weighs about 2lbs14oz., and everything appears to be looking good. The doctors will only let me stay pregnant for up to 34 weeks, anything after that they say that there is too much risk for infection.
We also want to say thank you to all our friends and family for helping out with our kids and for all of your support. We are truly blessed!! Please keep our baby boy in your prayers!!
